Platinum Skimmer Cone, Cold and Hot Plasma (1341430) – Suitable for Thermo Q/RQ/TQ ICP-MS. specifically designed to operate ONLY with the Cold Plasma Lens Kit (1341380). This skimmer cone can be used with the Cold Plasma Lens Kit to operate in both Cold (RF Power 550 W) and Hot Plasma conditions (RF Power 1550 W). Although the highest cost option compared to Ni, it is typically the most durable, longest-lasting, and because it runs hotter it requires less frequent cleaning. Use 10x Magnifier Inspection Tool with Built-In LED Illumination (NC2042261) to inspect cone orifice condition. Use Skimmer ConeGuard (70-803-1028) to protect cone threads during cleaning.
